Join the North Loop Neighborhood Association (NLNA) on Monday, October 6th at 7 pm at The Commune (101 North Loop Blvd E) for a special session on Austin ISD’s school consolidation plan, which will be announced this Friday, Oct. 3rd.
We’ll hear from AISD’s Senior Executive Director of Communications and Community Engagement for an overview of how the plan will impact our neighborhood elementary schools, Reilly and Ridgetop, pictured above. Then, we’ll have a chance to reflect, discuss, and ask questions as a community.
Whether or not you have students in the district, please consider joining! As the NLNA wrote in a recent letter of support for both elementary schools, “Ridgetop and Reilly Elementary Schools are a critical part of our neighborhood’s fabric.” This school consolidation plan will shape the future of our growing North Loop neighborhood.
