August 13th’s North Loop Neighborhood Plan Contact Team (NLPCT) meeting has been postponed to Wednesday, September 3rd, occurring at the same time as the regular North Loop Neighborhood Association (NLNA) that evening at 7:00pm at The Commune.
The main NLNPCT agenda item for that evening will be the proposed parkland on The 501 site (Leif Johnson Ford Properties) currently being developed by United Properties.
We will be looking for neighbor input and recommendations for amenities on these parcels. We will also be nominating (2) representatives from the NLNPCT membership to participate in a design charrette with United Properties (UP), their Landscape Architect, and Austin Parks and Rec Department (PARD) for designing the parkland proposed along the entire east side of the property.
